This is a rich, nourishing oil.

How to use Facial Oil 02

Place a few drops on the finger tips and gently massage into the chosen area (ideally, after washing) on rising and before bed.

Of special note

The five, certified organic oils we use are cold pressed and completely natural. Our oils have not been treated, nor has the finished product been treated. (Note that oils used for skincare are often treated in order to overcome their impurities, but manufacturers are under no legal obligation to mention this on the label).

About the ingredients

Jojoba Oil

Jojoba Oil acts as an emollient, making skin feel softer and smoother. It forms an effective barrier preventing water loss, while enhancing the restorative properties of the skin. Its moisturising effect is thought to be due to its penetration into the upper layers of the stratum corneum thus increasing skin hydration. Indigenous Americans used Jojoba Oil to help heal wounds. It is an anti-inflammatory. It is the closest natural product to wax esters in human sebum.

Grapeseed Oil

There’s been a great deal of research into the benefits of grapeseed oil because it contains such a wide range of elements including phenolic compounds (linoleic acid and oleic acid) and lipophilic constituents (such as vitamin E, unsaturated fatty acids and phytosterols). What does this all mean? Thanks to its natural fatty acid composition, oxidative stability and antioxidant properties it brings proven benefits to the skin.

Sweet Almond Oil

Historically, Sweet Almond Oil was used in Chinese, Ayurvedic and Greco–Persian Traditional Medicine to treat dry skin conditions, such as psoriasis and eczema. Today it is still used to smooth and rejuvenate skin, improving both complexion and tone. In addition, the oil is thought to reduce scarring post-surgery. Sweet Almond Oil is considered safe, non-toxic, non-irritating and non sensitising and light enough not to clog pores.

Neroli 5% Essential Oil

Neroli 5% Essential Oil (cold pressed from orange blossom) is an aromatic oil with therapeutic properties that come from its many beneficial components.

Rose Geranium Essential Oil

Rose Geranium Essential Oil is a delightfully aromatic oil that is prized for its anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory qualities.

How we make our Facial Oil 02

To prepare this facial oil we hand blend the five different oils in the correct proportions and pour the result into small, violet Miron glass bottles, which aid preservation.

Safety Information

Nowadays, manufacturers have become so frightened of litigation that their products come with dire warnings and super cautious advice. We won’t be left out of this! If you swallow this product contact a poison centre or doctor, immediately. Ditto if you splash it in your eye. However, just so you know, the ingredients are all plant based and – in the quantities present – pretty unlikely to cause any health issues. If you get some in your eye the first thing to do (before you start calling the poison centre/doctor) is to bathe the afflicted area with water. If you spill some by accident we advise swearing, as it is too valuable to waste.
