We are artisan producers and consequently recoil in horror at the thought of lengthy terms and conditions designed, basically, to let us off the hook in the event that we make a mess of something. On the other hand, our relaxed attitude is causing our lawyers to pull their hair out and wring their hands in despair (which is difficult to do at the same time). So, as a compromise (sop to the lawyers) we have copied, pasted and amended some terms and conditions we found on another site. We are a little worried they may find out and tell us off. But, if they do we can always say sorry and steal some different terms and conditions from someone else.

WILD AND PRECIOUS is a trading name of Three Things Limited, a company registered in Malta under registration number C68563. Our registered address is WILD AND PRECIOUS, Three Things Limited, 15 Naxxar Street, Birkirkara, BKR 9049, Malta. Our VAT number is MT22187107. If you have never been to Malta, by the way, you’d love it. Great climate. Great people. Lots to do and see.
Signing up as a Friend
To access some of the features of this website (hereafter referred to as the Site) - basically, to get the discount - you will need to sign up as our Friend (ahhhh!). When you do this we will ask you for some personal, but not too personal information about yourself and we rather insist that it is true, accurate, up to date, and complete (so, no exaggeration, okay). Should any of your information change for heaven’s sake and for legal reasons, please tell us immediately by email (email@example.com). Just to give you the heads up, we may change registration requirements from time to time because, well, because we can. The account password you provide should be unique and kept secure, and you must, must, must (pushy, us?) notify WILD AND PRECIOUS asap - as in immediately - of any breach of security or unauthorised use of your account so that we can Take Steps. Otherwise, we won’t answer for the consequences.
We won’t supply businesses
We are not interested in wholesaling our products. Moreover, we can’t take responsibility for products that are bought and then sold to someone else. Which is why we ask, really, actually, insist - politely but without equivocation - that products purchased by our customers are for personal or gift use (poor English but you know what we mean) and should not be re-sold, used for commercial purposes or any other commercial benefit. In addition, WILD AND PRECIOUS (you can tell we are serious because we always put it in capital letters) reserves the right to restrict multiple quantities of an item being shipped to any one customer or postal address.
Our lawyers insist we say the following. It seems self-evident to us. But there it is. All orders are subject to acceptance and availability, and items in your shopping basket are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers.
As you will have seen we show our prices in Euros, British Pounds and US Dollars. They are inclusive of VAT at the applicable rate. If you are shipping outside Europe our prices exclude VAT and hope that you won’t have a tussle with your local Customs & Excise wallahs (decent, generous folk, all). It often seems to be hit and miss with Customs & Excise, doesn’t it? We do recommend talking to them before you order to see what their attitude is. We can sometimes (i.e. we can’t promise) send orders using a courier who will arrange to pay any duty or excise for you. Small orders, of course, may not attract any import duty. We’ll do what we can to help but there are over 100 countries in the world charging import duty and we are not holding ourselves out as experts. Our serious, earnest lawyers say that we should say: all prices and offers remain valid as advertised from time to time. If we list a price on the Site it is valid unless we have made a cock-up, in which case it is not. Obviously, from time to time we will change our prices - perhaps because currency rates are changing or for some other reason. The price applicable to your order will be the price current at the time your order is accepted. If you are a customer whose credit/debit card is not denominated in Euros, Sterling or Dollars the final price will be calculated in accordance with the applicable exchange rate on the day your card issuer processes the transaction. Here endeth the lesson on pricing.
Just to make it clear
You would think you were buying a massive property not some artisan produced skincare or toiletries or laundry stuff from what follows. But, nevertheless, it has to be said. Once you have placed your order you will get a cheery email from us telling you we have received it and then - later - unless you cancel it - you will get an email saying the payment has been received and then - later again - you will get another email saying the goods have been despatched. It is only when you get that last email saying that your goods are on the way that acceptance of your order and completion of the contract between you and WILD AND PRECIOUS will be - ummm - completed. The sale contract is concluded in Malta. The language of the contract is English. We reserve the right to turn your order down for some reason (inability to obtain authorisation for payment, product out of stock &c. &c.) or no reason at all apart from whim. That is artisans for you. Slightly crazy. In short, we may refuse to process/accept a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. Whilst every effort is made to make sure details on our website are accurate we are a bit useless with technology and also all have lots of better things to do, and so you may from time to time discover an error in the pricing of products. If we discover an error in the pricing of a product in your order, we will let you know as soon as possible. We shall be under no obligation to accept or fulfil an order for a product that was advertised at an incorrect price and reserve the right to cancel such an order that has been accepted or is in transit. Obviously, we will tell you as quickly as we know - by email or by phone. If you have already paid for the goods, we shall refund the full amount as soon as we are able. In the event that products are recalled in transit, we will process your refund once the products have been returned to us.
We accept everything in payment: gold bars, groats, conch shells. Oh, no, we don’t. But you can pay using your Visa, MasterCard and American Express card via Paypal. When you reach the payment page during the checkout process you will be directed to the PayPal site and after that there are precise instructions. Once this transaction is complete, you will then be brought back to www.wildandprecious.com. Payment will be debited and cleared from your account prior to or upon dispatch of your order by THREE THINGS LIMITED T/A WILD AND PRECIOUS. When you place your order you are confirming that the credit/debit card that is being used is yours or that you have been specifically authorised by the owner of the credit/debit card to use it. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to WILD AND PRECIOUS, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery. We take reasonable - very reasonable - care to make our Site secure. If you are a registered WILD AND PRECIOUS user, we may securely store your credit/debit card details on our systems. These details will be fully encrypted and only used to process card transactions which you have begun. WILD AND PRECIOUS takes full advantage of Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology to make sure that it is safe to shop on our Site. Furthermore, we take reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment safe and secure, but we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the Site.
From time to time we may provide you with a discount or promotion code because that’s the sort of kindhearted people we are. These codes are non-transferable and there is (sadly) no cash alternative. Furthermore, they cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion code or offers, and must be redeemed by the date published, if provided.
At what point does your order become yours? From the later of the point in time when: (a) we receive payment in full, or (b) we deliver the goods to you. We must stress that when we provide you with a delivery time it is an estimate. WILD AND PRECIOUS is not responsible for any delays including - especially - those caused by destination customs clearance processes. If delivery is delayed by any event outside of our control, we will contact you as soon as we can to let you know and we will take steps to reduce the effect of the delay. Provided we do this, we will not be liable for delays caused by the event, but if there is a risk of substantial delay you may contact us to cancel your order and we will give you a refund for any goods you have paid for but not received.

We must stress that we have not reviewed all of the sites linked to our Site. We disclaim any responsibility for the content or accuracy of any off-site pages. We aren’t responsible, either, for the availability of such external websites or resources. We aren’t endorsing other websites and we can’t warrant for their privacy practices or content or anything else to do with them. We will not be liable for any damage, loss or offence caused or alleged to be caused by, or in connection with, the use of or reliance on any such content, goods or services available on such external websites or resources. Big fat disclaimer of all liability of everything
The law applicable to the interpretation and construction of these conditions and any transaction (including purchases made on this Website) using or related to the Website, shall be the laws of Malta without regard to principles of conflict of laws. You agree that all matters relating to your access to or use of the Website, including all disputes, will be governed by the laws of Malta.
Our Gift Cards may be used by the recipient to pay for anything on the Wild & Precious website. The cards do not have an expiry date. A card may be used by its recipient to take advantage of our new Friends introductory offer and any other offer. Note, however, that we do not offer any discount on the cards when you purchase them. In other words, if you are a Friend, the cards are excluded from our new Friend introductory offer. From time to time we have special offers such as a free gift if you spend a certain amount on the website. The card does not count towards such expenditure.
If you are unhappy with any Wild & Precious product - for any reason - let us know within 60 days of receipt for a full refund to a maximum sum of £150. This is in addition to your statutory rights. We reserve the right to refuse a full refund where we feel a customer is being unreasonable or where a customer has purchased more than one of the same item for the first time. For example, if the first order placed by a customer is for, say, 10 Moisturisers and the customer simply does not like the product we reserve the right to restrict our refund on the basis that the customer should have bought one product first to check that he or she likes it before placing an order for 10.
